Koh Samui

Navigating Koh Samui

Another experience to explore Koh Samui by cruising along its coast by boat. You can reach some deserted beaches and bays that unable to exposure by land. Watching the fisherman doing their job in the sea on their fishing boat. You will be impressed by the beautiful view of greenery mountains of Koh Samui from off shore and we also have time to swim or snorkel at some remote and tranquilly islands.

See Samui from the sea. Leaving Bophut pier, we pass the Big Buddha and several beaches including the resorts of Chaweng and Lamai, before arriving at the small island of Koh Tan where we are taken along the Mangrove Trail to learn about the island and its history. Lunch is served at a restaurant on the beach of Koh Tan Island (Green Peace Island), after which we sail on past Nathon, Taling Ngam and back to Bophut, having circumnavigated the island (itinerary may change due to local weather conditions).

Night Fishing

Transfer you to Bophut pier to board your authentic Thai-fishing boat. Your friendly fishermen know best, where the good spots are and where you may catch barracuda, white and red snapper, shark, mackerel, grouper or sting ray. Your fishing gear includes rods & trawling lines, fresh bait & lures. Depending on weather conditions, the captain will decide, where to fish.

Samui Adventure

Enjoy a full day of fun and adventure, using 4WD all the way, for maximum convenience and pleasure. In no particular order, here are some of the things to do and see during this trip. We will go on a ride with an elephant. Enjoy the scenic tropical – jungle from the back of one of the gentle giants. Later see how intelligent these mammals are, when you experience and elephant show, where the animal play football or musical instruments. Another animal, another show: monkeys are traditionally trained on samui to pick coconuts out of the trees. On samui, the monkey is men’s best friend. The 4WD- cars will provide the most in off- road and on road pleasure, as our experienced drivers will stop at many viewpoint or other points of interest, to give you best photo- opportunities there are. A break from driving, gives you the chance for a short jungle- hike up to the Na Muang Waterfall. If the season allows it, you can take a refreshing bath. Next up is the Buddha Magic Garden. In 1976 fruit farmer Nim Thongsuk built this garden -legend has it- all by himself. Stone sculptures of gods, demons and animals, a little river and the scenic setting, make this garden a tranquil and almost dreamlike sight.

When it is time for lunch, we serve you a buffet at a seaside restaurant, before commencing to Hin Ta & Hin Yai (Grandfather- and Grandmother Rock)- you will see, why these rocks are said to be the birthplace of the Mui- people. Also a “must see” is Wat Phra Yai, with Samui’s most prominent landmark: the 12 meter high, sitting Big Buddha. Visit this most revered temple, before returning to your resort.
