Day 1, Arrive Bangkok (-)
Transfer Bangkok Airport to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 2, Bangkok (B)
The tour takes you through some of the most interesting parts of Bangkok, including stops at the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Po), the actual name of which is Wat Phra Jetupon, famous as the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok, with its precincts covering 80,000 square meters in all; the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Trimmit), the home of a 5.5 ton Buddha image, found when the port of Bangkok was being expanded and dating back more than 200 years; and the Marble Temple (Wat Benjamabophit), a royal temple begun by King Chulalongkorn in 1901 and noted for its dazzling, white Carrara marble.
Day 3, Bangkok - Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)
Following breakfast at the hotel you will be picked up along with other passengers before leaving Bangkok for River Kwai. Our first stop in Kanchanaburi will be at the Railway Museum which will give you a good overall view concerning this portion of the track. After visit the War Cemetery and the famous bridge over the River Kwai before proceeding by long tail boats for the River Kwai Jungle Rafts for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon visit the Hell Fire Pass. Dinner at the hotel followed by a Mon cultural dance and song.
Day 4, Kanchanaburi – Bangkok (B/L)
Wake up to the sounds of nature. Breakfast at the rafts, followed by a stroll to the Mon tribal village. Depart the resort by boat for the pier, stop for lunch prior to taking a journey on the infamous Death Railway as we pass hanging cliffs and river scenery. After return to Bangkok. Tonight enjoy a visit to the nearby Asiatique shopping and entertainment complex, located on the Chao Phraya river front, lots of shops to keep you busy.
Day 5, Bangkok – Pattaya (B)
Breakfast followed by a full day at leisure for personal activities or optional tours.
Day 6 & 7, Pattaya (B)
Free day at leisure for personal activities.
Day 8, Depart Pattaya (B)
Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport.
